Students who were enrolled at the University of the West Indies and had to withdraw, voluntarily resign or complete an academic program must apply for readmission (online) within the set deadline. Individuals applying for readmission to study must submit their documents using the Download Documents link on the ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS online application page (if applicable). We encourage you to take every opportunity during the application process to show how you have become a more competitive candidate since your last application. NOTE: For B.Sc. Social Work, department requirements apply (2 references, personal statement, extracurricular form and/or interview). Faculty requirements may also apply to entry, for example: Mathematics is required for all courses of study in the Faculties of Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Technology and Medicine as well as for some courses in the Faculty of Humanities and Education. The medical program, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), requires the equivalent of 3 CAPE subjects (2 units each) which include biology, chemistry and another approved subject, as well as English, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics at the CXC CSTC level. The University allows candidates to apply to 4 programs in 2 faculties. For example, you can apply for banking and finance and management (accounting) studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences as well as for history and literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Education.

If you meet the enrollment and faculty requirements with competitive grades, you may be eligible for an offer for any of the programs you have chosen, depending on your academic competitiveness and combination of previous subjects. In addition, applicants must have qualifications in specific subjects for admission to certain study programmes. These are called faculty requirements and are specified in the respective faculty regulations.
