Is Livescope Legal in Tournaments

I am not opposed to it in principle. I just don`t want to pay all that money for it. More power for those who do. I bet most ordinary Joes jumping on the bandwagon barely know what they`re watching and probably earn less than $200 a year at local tournaments. Personally, I`m not against using such items in your arsenal if you have them for recreational fishing, but at what point does this technology go too far when it comes to tournaments? I feel like part of it takes away the fishing skills and sport that we all fall in love with in the beginning, and so much like a crutch or a cheat code to win. Share your thoughts on this, I would love to hear from people who use them and also fishing tournaments! It definitely changed the fishing where I come from, I fish a lot of big deep lakes with a small mouth and a big mouth. The last 4 years on the lakes, people have won with 14-17 pounds of big flat mouth and now win with 19-24 pounds of buns, all thanks to Livescope. I think it`s absolutely crazy that they have the technology to do it now, and it`s definitely something that would be super cool to own and use, especially on really slow days. I don`t understand why, at some point, a company couldn`t deploy enough technology to see every fish in the entire lake in real time 24/7.

Is that what people want? My personal opinion is that this is too much. I doubt I`ll ever have one unless he`s 10 years old and has the third owner. I have too many other things I want in advance. I don`t have any of these configurations on my boat, but I recently talked to a fishing partner about them and wondered what others think about using the scope and Panoptix when it comes to competition fishing? Should it be used? Is it a scam to use in addition to other electronic devices already in use? It is a wonderfully useless toy. If you can afford it, you will definitely have fun. For me, I`m just excited to learn how to use my usual electronic devices better. Part of fishing is finding fish and being outside, not glued to a screen. But I like to challenge myself to find and catch fish, even when I`m using my cheap little PiranhaMAX DI detector. Some days I like skunks, it means I did something wrong and I have to think about how my day was and what I could have done better instead of just looking at a screen at a place I think I can produce just to see that there is no fish.

and you just have to go somewhere else to find them If everyone has access to them, it`s just from a competitive point of view. But that makes tournament fishing completely boring for me as a spectator. I haven`t and I won`t either, so what they do has almost no application to my fishery.
